Wealthy Affiliate Review – It Does not Work
The internet is truly the last frontier. Fortunes are made and lost here. And your fortune could be waiting for you as an Affiliate Marketer.
At this point, it's kind of like how you look at life, is the glass half empty or half full. If you would have told me twenty years ago that I would be working from home, making money online as an Internet Marketer, I probably would have asked why I was even in college.
I personally am a– "my glass is half full sort of person." Unfortunately that has gotten me into more trouble over the last 10 years than I care to admit. As a stay at home parent looking for a legitimate way to make a living online, I have found myself broke, confused and dismayed over the crazy money making schemes I have paid for over the years. At one point I had maxed out my credit cards and was ready to give up hope that I could ever afford to spend time watching my children grow up.
But, being that glass is half full kind of gal, it was just around that time that I discovered Affiliate Marketing. I had stumbled into it accidently and was "guessing" at how to be successful at it. Quite frankly I stunk at it initially, but hey the web is a wonderful place for information so I picked up a few tips here and there and started making some cash sporadically. But believe me the amounts were nothing to get excited about and my credit card balances were still up there!
Now at this point some of you may be wondering what Affiliate Marketing REALLY is? Well to summarize it, you (the affiliate) are marketing or "advertising" someone else's product. Does not that sound simple? You know what, it is IF and ONLY IF you know what you are doing. There is a lot of really bad advice out there by so called "Guru's" that can get you spending more money on things like Pay Per Click (PPC) Google Advertising Campaigns than you can not afford. In that case, the only ones getting rich is the Guru who took your money for that ebook and of course Google.
And hey, those guys do not need to get richer off of someone elses dreams.
If you purchase a product and it tells you to start a Google campaign immediately, RUN and do not even look back. Get a refund if you can.
Too many of the programs I tried and failed at did just that. Test, this test that. Believe me Testing is ok, but not at the rate of $ 50- $ 100 a day! When the only advice that a program has is to "test" something that should tell you right there that they do not even know what the heck they're talking about.
Affiliate Marketing is an awesome thing, and believe you me you can make a lot and I do mean A LOT of money at it. But you need to be guided and mentored on how to do it. That's where the Wealthy Affiliate comes in. There is nothing like it on the internet. It is basically a gosh darn REAL interactive "school" for people who want to make money online.
Most people like myself that want to make money via the internet have no clue how to go about it. Well at Wealthy Affiliate, they know because they've made millions doing just this: Raw and Successful Affiliate Marketing. These people are true professionals and the difference here is that they actually tell you EVERYTHING you need to know and give you a very specific Hand-Holding plan on how to get there.
Let's face it, the Internet Can be such an impersonal place, it's so easy to hide under the guise of an ebook or a website with 48 hour customer service for people who actually um … might have a question.
This is what sets Wealthy Affiliate apart from the rest!
The heart and soul of the Wealthy Affiliate is it's Forum. This is where you can get advice and develop relationships with seasoned internet marketers who really want to help you succeed. The owners Kyle and Carson Actively participate and will actually give you one on one advice when you need it!
Now, some people like me, are not really big on forum participation and that's ok. Personally I love them, but when I am new to something, I like to read the posts, not necessarily contribute to them. The amount of knowledge that I have gained just by reading Wealthy Affiliate Forum Posts have brought me from $ 12 / day to about $ 78 a day and climbing. With 3 kids, that is on a very part-time basis.
But the forum is just the foundation of WA. You will learn what Affiliate Marketing is, where to start and if you get stuck, Kyle and Carson will fix it. With all of the articles, archived videos, search tools, free website templates, free web hosting and my personal favorite, the 8 Week Action Plan, you really do not need anything else to make money online.
I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since April 07. And, I continue to make my money with the free and low advertising techniques that they teach. I do not use Google to advertise my programs. (even though I could and will some day with the lessons I have completed as a member of WA). But every day the benefits of being a Wealthy Affiliate far out weigh the money I have blown on the rest of the crap that's being peddled out there.
In my opinion Wealthy Affiliate is the best darn thing to happen to Affiliate Marketing, Period.
